Trainers - skills in Ascalon - Guild Wars Forums

From looking thru the guides here on Guru, it seems as though by reaching level 7 and having walked my tootsie's to the bone....that I'd have (a) either come across skill trainers from who I could learn/acquire new skills or (b) have found those not named as a trainer who thru quest or other I'd have gotten some skills to choose from.
I mean the picture under Skill Trainer shows a list that a player can choose 1 skill from.......but I've not found any NPC with this option.

On a side note, I'm also not finding Expert Salvg Kits on any merchants, nor the option to have LvL 5 Warrior Armour crafted when speaking to every crafter I can find.

Any ideas on these problems I'm having?

Are you talking pre or post searing Ascalon?

There are no armor crafters that I know of in pre-searing ascalon. Only collector armor there.

Skills are also limited pre-searing. You should only be able to get ~5-6 skills per class max before searing.

Post searing skills are mostly quest related. Just poke arround New Ascalon and they'll straight tell you the rewards for your quest. Simply do the ones that have skills listed as rewards. I wish I could be more specific, but you didn't give much detail.

Expert salvage kits are found in Yak's bend. No way you'll make it there there before your teens.

The next set of affordable armor is at the crafter in Pikens square (Post-searing) Take the supplies for the duke quest and It'll get u there.
